The Most Beautiful Lady in the World: Statue of Liberty Anthem

This is a live recording of the world premiere of "The Most Beautiful Lady in the World: Statue of Liberty Anthem" for Orchestra, Chorus and Solo Tenor recorded on October 27, 2006 in Constanta, Romania at the "Teatrul National De Opera Si Balet 'Oleg Danovski' Presents Concert Simfonic Muzica Americana a Sec. XXI."  The tenor soloist is Bogdan Secula singing with the opera chorus and orchestra.  The composer is Helmut Christoferus Calabrese and the lyricist is Paul Lutz Calabrese.  The song was written 1985 and dedicated to the the Statue of Liberty on October 28, 1986 at the 100th Centennial Celebration of the Statue of Liberty.  A bill, H.R. 2776, was introduced July 28, 1993, calling on the 103rd Congress "To designate 'The Most Beautiful Lady in the World,' by Helmut Christoferus and Paul L. Calabrese, as the official anthem of the Statue of Liberty."
