Alexandre Tansman "Variations on a Theme of Scriabin"
“This melody has a haunting quality with poignant accompanying chord progressions” (Graham Wade). At times it sumerges you in a reflective state and at times it seems as it takes you through the lifelong memories of a human being: joy, sadness, loss, laughter, humor and serenity.

Antonio Soler Sonata R.115 in D minor (Trans. Kathy Acosta Zavala)

Antonio Soler y Ramos is one of the Spanish musical genius of the 18th century. This video features one of his exquisite keyboard sonatas, available to the guitar thanks to the art of transcribing.
Soler was born in the town of Olon de Porrera, province of Gerona in Catalonia around 1729. He spent his most productive years of life at ‘El Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo del Escorial.’ The Sonata in D minor, R. 115, truly displays Soler’s melodic gracefulness and an exquisite harmonic taste.
