Katarina Andjelković (1990) started playing piano at the age of 5 in the class of Prof. Olivera Prijić in Belgrade, Serbia. Since the early age she was successfully contributed on the national and international competitions for young pianists (prize winner at: Concursi Internazionali di Musica- Citta di Stresa, Italy, Republic competitions of Music schools of Serbia, EPTA Concours in Belgrade, International “Petar Konjovic” competition.) This first cycle of her musical education she finished as the best student in her generation, and also won the prize for the best graduation piano recital.

In the year of 2005 she enrolled the University of Arts, Faculty of Music in Belgrade, as one of the youngest students in the generation, studying in the class of Prof. Nenad Radić. After the graduation (2010) she finished specialistic studies (2012), and started doctoral degree studies with Prof. Radić.

During her studies Katarina focuses on her concert activity, giving solo recitals in the most of the significant concert halls in Serbia (Kolarac Hall, Serbian academy of science and arts, Art center Guarnerius, etc), and taking part in important cultural events as Belgrade Summer Festival (BELEF 2014) or The 6th World Piano conference in Novi Sad 2014.  She also won the first prize at EPTA Competition in Belgrade, and, for the end of her studies she was awarded with “Olga Mihajlović” prize for the most talented piano student at Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

In 2014 she enrolled at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria, in the class of Prof. Christopher Hinterhuber where she is studying right now. By now, she has given several solo recitals in Geselschaft für Musiktheater, performed at Mdw festival (of University of music and performing arts) and played a solo recital as a part of Blüthner Rising Stars concert cyclus.

During her studies, Katarina was broadening her knowledge attending master classes and academies, working with professors Emanuel Krassowsky, Peter Frankl, Aleksandar Madžar, Gottlieb Wallisch, Jan Jiracek von Armin, Markus Schirmer.

She was the scholarship holder of International Summer Academy Prag-Wien-Budapest, Dr.Marta Sobotka-Charlotte Janeczek foundation Vienna and "Dositeja" foundation of Serbian ministry of education.

As important aspect of her music development Katarian finds also her 5 years long employment as a piano accompanist in the High school for music “Josip Slavenski“ in Belgrade.
