Philipp Krylov 

Philipp was born at the 10th of August 1994 in a musical family. His mother is the concertmeister of first violins, and father is the first oboe in the Bolshoy Theater in Moscow. He started his musical education at the age of 4 years. In 2001 Philipp applied to the class of Prof. Marina Dneprovskaya at Tchaikovsky State Conservatory music school, and in 2009 at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory college. During the study, Philipp took part in many performances, including many concerts with the Bolshoy Theater orchestra as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles. Also he performed on international stages worldwide, including Switzerland, Croatia, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany and other. In 2013 he applied to the University of music and performance arts in Vienna to the class of Prof. Anton Sorokow, 1. concertmeister of Vienna Symphony orchestra. 

In 2009 he got the special award at New Names International competition.

In 2015 he won the first prize at VII Concorso Musicale Citta’ Di Filadelfia violin competition.

Philipp performs on an Italian violin made by Carolus Tononi in 1732.
