biography

Claudia began her vocal education with Margot Pares Reyna at El Sistema's Vocal Academy. To date, she has studied with multiple Venezuelan singers. In addition, she has worked repertoire with such pianists as Teresa Cos, Franca Ciarfella, and Juan Mateo Rojas.

Additionally, Claudia has attended masterclasses with important musicians and coaches like Noemí Lugo, Bernhard Kerres, Isabel Palacios, Michael Form, Gerald Wirth, and Susana Frangi.

As a soloist, Claudia has sung under conductors such as Diego Matheuz, Isabel Palacios, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Elisa Vegas and Robert Göstl, in performances of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, Bach's Magnificat and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, as well as in several supporting roles in the operas L'incoronazione di Poppea, Dido&Aeneas, Il trionfo dell'onore, Rigoletto, Cavalleria rusticanaMadama Butterfly, and Gianni Schicchi.

At present, Claudia is a member of the Latin-American Academy of Antique Music of Venezuela, which is part of the Fundamusical Simón Bolívar.


As a chorister, she is a founding member of the prestigious Simón Bolívar National Youth Choir of Venezuela, with which she has sang under renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle and Gustavo Dudamel, and in major concert halls and events like the Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center, and the Salzburger Festspiele.

Claudia holds a degree in Arts from the Central University of Venezuela.
