Award-winning pianist Kosmas Lapatas studied Classical & Modern Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue, Musicology, Music Technology & Computer Composition. He has received four awards in Piano Performance, Composition, Music Education and Conducting. He also studied Teaching Pedagogy, Music Education, Sonic Arts, Modern & Post-modern Music, Performance Practice, Philosophy & Aesthetics, Blended & Individualized Teaching, Literature, Poetry & Drama, History, Art and Film. He has attended intensive master classes in Piano Performance & Pedagogy, Music Education, Music Technology & Conducting.

His tutors are Juilliard, Berklee, Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Princeton, Mozarteum, Gnessin, Mannes, Curtis, Cornell, Indiana, RAM, RCM, UCL, GSMD, Royal Holloway graduates trained by iconic classical musicians such as Marcus, Guerrero, Brailowsky, Musulin, Orff, Curzon, Enescu, Anda, Markevitch, Moravec, Leteiner, Ogdon, Naumov, Horszowski, Boulanger, Svetlanova, Skoda, Hindemith, Lhevinne, Serkin, Slenczynska, Solomon, Hubert, Messiaen, Sebok, Kortone Tocco, Neumann and Vlassenko.

Since 1995 he has devoted himself exclusively to teaching the piano to children, teen and adults. He is the founder of the Holistic Piano Pedagogy model.
