Columbia Artists is pleased to welcome Marie Jacquot to its roster, with representation in North and South America and the United Kingdom.
Considered one of the leading young conductors in Europe today and Deputy Chief Conductor of the Philharmonic in Wurzburg, Ms. Jacquot has completed a summer conducting the world premiere of Nicholas Brass’ Die Vorübergehenden at the Bavarian State Opera, Munich. This week she debuted with the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester (DSO) Berlin in a program of Messiaen, Prokofiev, Lutoslawski, and Ravel.
This season Marie debuts with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Gürzenich Orchester Cologne, Staatstheater Stuttgart (Medea), and Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Rigoletto). She will additionally conduct the Bremer Philharmoniker, and productions of Il Barbieri, La Belle Hélène, and King Arthur in Würzburg.
Previous highlights include MDR Symphonieorchester Leipzig, Muenchner Symphoniker, Grosses Orchester Graz, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra at the Konzerthaus.
