A miniature history of Russian music for piano four hands

“Russian Music for Piano Four Hands” is the title of the new album of the Costa & Casanova Piano Duo, released in September 2019 for Da Vinci Classics. Sara Costa and Fabiano Casanova are two Italian pianists, who perform on international stages as soloists and chamber musicians, and they have a common love for Russian culture and music. They got a Master in Piano Duo under the guidance of the amazing pianist and teacher Konstantin Bogino, exponent of Russian music tradition and pianist of Tchaikovsky Piano Trio. In this CD the musicians explores the Russian repertoire for piano four hands. The idea is to start from the tradition, with Glinka, passing for the folklore with Balakirev and finishing with the innovation of the genius of Rachmaninov. A miniature history of Russian music for piano four hands. Da Vinci Classics is a quite new and modern label, based in Osaka (Japan) and really interested in promoting emerging artists from all over the world and special ideas.
