Fazil Say Gezi Park Concerto I
Deeply moved by the Gezi Park protests in Spring 2013 Fazil Say wrote a concerto for two pianos and orchestra. He dedicated it to Ferhan and Ferzan Önder.
Martin Grubinger speaks in his TV show KlickKlack about the concerto and interviews Fazil Say.
The concerto can be next heard on 30 May 2014, one year after everything began, at the Volkstheater in Vienna. Fazil Say will also perform the Gezi Park Sonata. Martin Grubinger and the Percussive Planet will play the percussion part. The Württembergische Philharmonie plays conducted by Ola Rudner.
