When in Doubt About Recorder Listen to Sheng-Fang Chiu

For many of us, the recorder was the first instrument we played. We considered it as a childrens’ instrument and often did not take it seriously. And then we realize that there is a growing number of great musicians playing the recorder in a way we never considered possible. One of them is the young Taiwanese musician, Sheng-Fang Chiu.
Sheng-Fang Chiu studied in Vienna with Michael Posch and with Anna Januj in Leipzig. She has a passion for playing in various chamber ensembles and won many prizes with her ensembles. One of those ensembles is the Vivid Consort, three young recorder musicians playing what they call #earlypopmusic.

Explore their music on their HELLO STAGE Pages and do not forget to register as their fan!
