Meanwhile in Bratislava, another amazing piano duo, the Piano Duo Shin Park play Mozart's Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra ...we wish them the very best!

Congratulations to the The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Paavo Järvi for being Orchestra of the Year! "From the award ceremony at the Musikfestival Heidelberger Frühling: Dr. Norbert Lammert, President of the German Parliament, hands over the 'Orchestra of the Year 2016' award by Deutschlandradio Kultur to our oboist and orchestra board member Ulrich König. We are thrilled to be the first orchestra, who receives this price!" Go and enjoy them live on the 4th May in Bremen!

The marvelous pianist Olga Scheps is one to watch - this week she plays Lamentare by Arvo Pärt with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra under Bas Wiegers, in Cologne this Friday - will surely be magiecal evening!

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe tours Italy this week with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja and under the baton of Maestro Vladimir Jurowski - they play Weinberg's Symphony No.10 , Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No.2 by Prokofiev and Beethoven's 7th Symphony in Brescia on the 6th, Bergamo on the 7th and Bologna on the 8th before heading off to Zurich on the 9th...good luck for all of the concerts!
