#classicalbuzz HELLO STAGE Weekly Highlights March 28th

Exciting highlights this week, from Seoul over Australia to Las Vegas...

We start this weeks highlights with the wonderful Alauda Quartet, the winners of our #1000fansforyou challenge! We are really looking forward to hosting their concert, but for the meantime you can sign up as a fan and follow their events around the globe - this week in Göttingen, Germany on the 29th and next month in Italy!

Another well know face on Hello Stage, conductor Tae-Jung Lee is really into Mozart this week, as he performs in Seoul, South Korea with the Joy of Strings Ensemble; soloists are violinist Sung-Ju Lee, clarinet player Igor Fedorov and pianist Ekaterina Mechetina. Join them for an evening of music by you know who ;)...you can also catch up on Tae-Jung's recent Orange Twist interview here .

It's always exciting and we highly recommend following Piano4etoiles - this week with three concerts in Berlin, the Brahms Cycle the 29th/31st and with Nelson Friere on the 30th! Don't miss these #classicalbuzz gems, we were luck enough to interview their founder, André Furno and gain insight into this important and renound promoter. A must-read for all classical musicians!

Conductor Cristian Macelaru celebrates the end of the month and April 1st conducting the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - Gabriel Fauré's beautifully haunting Pavane, Op. 50, Brahms's Violin Concerto, Op. 77 with soloist Nikolaj Znaider, Pierre Jalbert's In Aeternum and Debussy's La Mer will sound the halls in all their glory...good luck to everyone!

Violinist Nicola Benedetti is in Australia with the Tasmania Symphony Orchestra - catch their concerts on the 1st/2nd April - cellist Leonard Elschenbroich will join Nicola for Brahms's Double Concerto under Marko Letonja before they head off to New Zealand! From the 6th to the 16th April they tour with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Edo de Waart - toi toi toi to everyone!

Have you discovered the talented Australian pianist Nicholas Young? On the 1st April he celebrates Bach & Busoni: Celebrating the Pianist-Composer's 150th Birthday with a solo recital in Sydney, Australia - do listen to his media and enjoy his playing!

From Australia back to Las Vegas! Conductor Donato Cabrera , performs with the Las Vegas Philharmonic at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts for a string of concerts on the 2nd/3rd April - go and enjoy Gershwin: Music of the Jazz Age!
