#classicalbuzz HELLO STAGE Weekly Highlights October 26th

A great variety of #classicalbuzz from around the globe awaits us this week...

This week's highlights start tonight in Eskişehir, Turkey where the Turkish pianist Eren Yahsi has Beethoven's Appassionata, Ravel's charming Alborada del gracioso and Chopin's demanding yet magical Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58 lined up...

Meanwhile, our Artist of the Week, Vlada Borovko stars in Bizet's Carmen this week, on Tuesday 27th and on Friday 30th, in London at the Royal Opera Hause.

As stated on their website; "Francesca Zambello’s production of Bizet’s much-loved opera sets the stage alight with Spanish heat and gypsy passion."

Vlada will take on the role of Frasquita - it has been a pleasure watching her career develop, she is officially a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House (2015-2016). Discover her journey and enjoy her music on her page and catch up on her Orange Twist Interview for Hello Stage here.

Also in London on Tuesday 27th, the Auner Quartett play their London Debut at the Austrian Embassy - did you know that they met in Vienna but between them, were born in Austria, Brazil, Poland and Belarus?

Next we visit Barcelona, Spain where the Italian flutist Sara Bondi performs at the Catalan Art School Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi .

Sara is describes herself as an "Eclectic artist, interested in dance and literature besides music, she loves to combine different fields of art to create concert programs where the public is invited to feel intensely that emotional communication that she is searching for " so this seems like the perfect setting for works by Spanish composers Maneul Oltra, Alfredo Cassela, Eduard Toldrà, Joan Albert Amargos and a touch of Prokofiev...

Sara will be accompanied by the Spanish pianist, Neus Peris who plays in her hometown...best of luck ladies!

Meanwhile in Vienna, the talented Cellist and Singer/Songwriter Marie Spaemann plays Franck's' Sonata for Cello and Piano in A Major acommpanied by Christiane Karajeva (piano) and then presents her crossover pop/soul project, MELA - Moony Sessions at the well-known Schwarzberg Wien! We salute this fresh approach and look forward to Thursday, 29th!

It's an honour having as establishment such as the PRO ARTE Frankfurter Konzertdirektion on Hello Stage.

An absolute highlight is coming up this Saturday 30th as Sir Neville Marriner conducts "UK's leading chamber orchestra ", the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and the acclaimed Cellist Harriet Krijgh as the play Elgar's Introduction and Allegro, for String Quartett and String Orchestra, Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra and Dvořák's Symphony No.8 at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.
