Wednesday's Weekly Top 5! October 7th

We start this week's top 5 with a warm welcome to the outstanding German pianist Katharina Treutler! Looking forward to seeing her #classicalbuzz develop on HELLO STAGE...

Orchester Jakobsplatz München are playing in Munich tonight, at the Prinzregententheater, Jüdisches Neujahrskonzert – Kantorenkonzert - this orchestra was founded in 2005 by conductor Daniel Grossmann; "the Orchestra Jakobsplatz Munich brings to life music that was written by Jewish composers or influenced by Jewish culture." Good luck!

Enjoy pianist Mitra Kotte's divine interpretation of Schumann's ABEGG-Variationen, Op.1!
Have you discovered the Aviv Quartet yet? We found out that 'Aviv' means 'spring' in Hebrew, "a signifier of new beginnings and the season of birth and fresh thinking encompasses the Aviv Quartet's artistic philosophy of stripping away artificial coverings "to reveal true nature, sharper definition and heightened awareness"."

Do look for and listen to their acclaimed recordings on Naxos, including works by Schulhoff and Dohnanyi (remember, one of the many benefits of having a professional package on HELLO STAGE is that you have Naxos Music Library streaming).

Say hello to Russian violinist Ekaterina Frolova - look forward to seeing her page develop!
