#classicalbuzz HELLO STAGE Weekly Highlights October 5th

This week's highlights start right here in Vienna with the young quartet from Austria, Brazil and Belarus, the Auner Quartet. Toi toi toi for their upcoming concert tonight at the Kultursalon im Alten Rathaus.

Discover the acclaimed Italian conductor Alessandro Crudele on HELLO STAGE - tomorrow, October 6th, he conducts the Orchestra UniMi at the Aula Magna Università Statale in Milan, Italy. We are happy to share the #classicalbuzz around Trio KlaViS and their recent crowdfunding success for their debut CD, Geography of Sound - congratz from the entire HELLO STAGE team!

This week they have yet another debut lined up at the Gasteig in Munich as they play their first concert in Germany on the 10th October - good luck!

Igudesman & Joo have just started their US tour - if you have the opportunity to see their new show, "And Now Mozart" - go for it! This is truly classical music comedy at its best. This week they are performing in Lake Placid and Richmond. At the end of the month, just in time for Halloween, they play a "Scary Concert" (what else?) with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra - more to come on that soon! For the time being, their sheet music "A Little Nightmare Music" is available on Universal Edition!

Award winning Polish-born and New York City-based concert violinist Kinga Augustyn has just released a new album The Romantic Violin Recital - stay tuned for her blog post coming up this week. She plays at St. Martin's Church, New Hope USA on the 9th October with the Riverside Symphonia under conductor Mariusz Smolij.

German pianist Lydia Maria Bader has a recital coming up at the Internationales Theater Frankfurt on the 10th October with her signature programme Music of the North and works by Grieg, Nielsen, Sibelius...for those of you who have not discovered it yet, grab a copy of her CD, Music of the North which was pubished last December - here is a link to itunes!
