Taras Krysa

Ukrainian-born American conductor Taras Krysa is earning critical acclaim as a new and exciting musical presence. After nine seasons as Music Director of the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, he was appointed Guest Principal Conductor of Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra in 2014. He continues to serve as the Director of Orchestral Studies at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Mr. Krysa has guest conducted throughout the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, The Netherlands and Slovakia. He has cover conducted with the St. Louis and Memphis Symphony Orchestras. As a violinist he was a member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, New World Symphony Orchestra, and continues to maintain an active carreer as a performer of chamber music.

Mr. Krysa has a reputation for developing successful orchestral programs and organizations, and is lauded for his fresh interpretations of a wide breadth of repertoire. He is committed to creative programming and enjoys championing new music. Mr. Krysa is a skillful opera and ballet conductor.
Mr. Krysa can be heard on the Brilliant Classic's  recordings of Mozart's Serenades, Divertimenti and complete Dances.
