Sol Daniel Kim

Hello and welcome to my Hello Stage Profile!

I am Sol Daniel Kim, a Korean cellist with an Austrian Nationality living currently in Berlin/Germany.

Music is a great way to connect all people around the world, regardless of their ethnicity, religion or language. My goal as a musician is not to only recreate the old masterpieces from our ancestors, but to also create new music, which is why I have founded the international Duoproject "CelloGayageum" in 2016 with my duopartner and Gayageum (traditional Korean zither) in Berlin.

I am very blessed to have worked with amazing teachers such as Heinrich Schiff, Jens Peter Maintz and Gautier Capuçon, with whom I have recently performed together in the Auditorium of the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.

I hope to see you soon in one of your concerthalls in your hometown and to share special musical moments on stage with you!
