Samuel Park


Pianist Samuel Park exemplifies the best of the emerging concert artists in his country. He was born in 1990 in Je-ju, South Korea, and there he began studying piano at the age of 6. His artistic  activity started when he was very young, and he stood out in the Korean musical scene for his brilliant results in international piano and chamber music competitions.

In 2005 He came to Vienna, Austria and He continued to studying piano with Young Austrian Pianist and Conductor Florian Krumpöck, with Prof. Michael Krist at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien and since 2009 at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität with well-known Austrian Pianist Roland Batik.

Samuel Park has won a great number of awards in many international piano and chamber music competitions : in the international competition for young talented artists in 21centruy of Austria,Italy. international Rome Pianoduo competition Italy, Franz Schubert international chamber music competition in Bulgaria, 'Vittorio Gui' International Chamber Music Competition in Italy, Osaka International Music Competition, Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize (MPM) international piano competition in Barletta, Italy.

He took masterclasses with well-known Pianists include Menahem Pressler, Vitaly Margulis, Mikhail Voskresensky, Paul Badura-Skoda, Andrzej JasiƄski,  Mauricio Vallina, Jura Margulis, Henri Sigfridsson, Victor Goldberg, Piano Duo Stenzl (Hans-Peter und Volker Stenzl)

He has performed in many International festivals and in famous halls in Asia and Europe, and has been acclaimed by all his audiences : Wiener Musikverein Goldenen Saal und Konzerthaus Wien, Rudolfinum Prague, Smetana Hall Prague, Seoul Arts Center and more.

He has played with many orchestras including the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra, Euro Orchester di Bari, Adana Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra, Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra, Maikop Philharmonic Orchestra, North Cezch Philharmonic Teplice,
Buryat State Opera Orchestra, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.

Recently, He gives Masterclasses and Recitals as a Soloist and Chamber Musician in Europe, America, Asia
