I am a New York based cellist--a member of the MET Orchestra, a soloist and chamber musician with numerous CDs and a passionate advocate for forgotten masterworks of the past, as well as a champion of new music. My newest CD is being released in August, 2014 on the Centaur Label of Andrew Rudin's wonderful Cello Sonata. I will be performing Vernon Duke's Cello Concerto in December in New York. This will be the first New York performance of this powerful 1945 Concerto since Piatigorsky played it here in 1946!
