UN Human Rights Day 2014 with Juan Diego Flórez
On the occasion of UN Human Rights Day 2014 (Wednesday 10 December 2014), the United Nations Human Rights in Geneva hosted for the first time an inspirational celebration in the incomparable environs of the Human Rights Dome, housing the celebrated artwork of Spanish painter Miquel Barceló.

World-famous Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez joined South African sensation Pretty Yende, Egyptian revelation soprano Fatma Said and Bolshoi bass Sergey Artamonov, with a special orchestra created for this occasion, featuring young musicians from social music projects in Peru, Colombia, Turkey, South Africa and other countries combined with professional musicians from prestigious orchestras, led by Spanish conductor Pablo Mielgo.
Conducting the UN Concert for Peace
Pablo Mielgo conducted the new Harmonia Symphony – consisting of young musicians from different music projects. This orchestra accompanied Juan Dieglo Flórez and his singer colleagues Fatma Said (Egypt), Pretty Yende (South Africa) and Sergey Artamonov (Russia) in a concert on Human Rights Day  in Geneva on December 10, 2014. Youngsters from South America, South Africa, Asia and Europe played together, conducted by Spanish conductor Pablo Mielgo. For many of the musicians it is the first international concert.
