These personal and artistic contact where crucial for González Lizausaba's technical, musical and ethical experience. Max Deutsch used to define González Lizausaba as ...a complete musician with a granite temperament and good humor.

His Professional contacts with composers as: Boulez, Donatoni, Luis de Pablo, Dutilleux, Lutoslawski and Ferneyhough have been decisive for González Lizausaba's artistic and musical development.

Another decisive meeting for Gonzalez Lizausaba was the Venezuelan composer and conductor Antonio Estévez. Maestro Estévez gave important lessons in composition and orchestration to González Lizausaba.
