Marianna was born on December 5th 1999, in Linz, Austria. At the age of 3 , she was already learning piano, and in 2005 and 2006, she won First Prize with excellence in Prima la Musica competitions - performing, among other programs, her own compositions. She started studying flute when 7 years old, in Vienna and Linz, under professor Helmut Trawöger, one of the leading pedagogues and flutists in Austria.
In 2010, she was accepted by the Anton Bruckner Privatuniverzitet, the Academy for gifted in Linz, as their youngest student. From 2011-2012, she studied in the class of professor Bernhard Krabatsch (who is the solo flautist of the Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg). From September 2012, she studies with professor Johanne Dömötör (an internationally known flutist and the youngest university professor in the German language area).
She further expanded her music education by attending the Master Courses for young flutists, among others with the exceptional Italian flutist and international pedagogue Francesca Canali, and with the leading Austrian flutist Karl-Heinz Schütz, the solo flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic.
She won First Place with excellence as a flautist in 2009, 2011, 2013 in Prima la Musica, Austrian state and national competitions, and in 2012 and 2013 with ensemble MasemisemA on flute and percussion.
In 2010, she won "Dr. Josef Ratzenböck" scholarship from government of Upper Austria, for exceptional talent and achievement.
Within the format of Concert Galas and First Place Winner appearances, Marianna performed in Brucknerhaus in Linz, Konzerthaus in Vienna (The Austrian and Serbian Friendship Concert), as well as in Grand Hall of Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade, Serbia.
Since 2013, she's a member of OÖ JS Orchester.
