Margret Koell, Baroque Harp

Margaret Koell, a leading figure in her field, plays the entire captivating range of historical harps and opens the doors on a sensuous baroque landscape that sparkles, and enchants. Since making the decision to specialise in playing the baroque harp Margret Koell has worked with the crème de la crème of early music, both as a soloist and as a continuo player with baroque orchestras such as Il Giardino Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, Europa Galante, Concerto Köln, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Collegium Vocale and opera houses including La Scala Milan and the Bavarian State Opera.
Her solo recitals and duo projects with first class partners, such as the lutenist Luca Pianca and the soprano Roberta Invernizzi are chamber music diamonds that gain their brilliance from a combination of technical technical perfection and passionate commitment to the music.
