The piano trio KaWuKa with Linda Wu (piano), and the sisters Veronika Kahrer (violin) and Alexandra Kahrer (violoncello) met for the first time in 2010 during the annual chamber music festival "Allegro Vivo" in Lower Austria. Being outstanding soloists of their own, the young musicians work intensively with their teachers Josef Luitz, Snežana Kiš, Robert Nagy and Alma Sauer. They perform at concerts regularly and won first prizes at the Austrian national music competition "Prima la Musica" in 2011 and 2013. Moreover, the young trio won a notable "Honorable Mention" at the international Broadcast-competition "Concertino Praga" in the Czech Republic in 2013. Since autumn 2013 the trio is also mentored by Alexandra Ruth Rappitsch.
