John Lidfors


John Lidfors distinguishes himself as a conductor of penetrating and sensitive musicianship with an uncommonly versatile mastery across the orchestral and vocal spectrum. Currently serving as Assistant Conductor of the Bochum Symphony and Director of the Bochum Philharmonic Choir, he also founded the Orchester Ventuno, a chamber orchestra performing in and around Nuremberg. 

Apart from his work with symphony orchestras he also performs with some of the top choirs of Germany. His concert performances include the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Gstaad Festival Orchestra, the South Denmark Philharmonic, the Magdeburgische Philharmonie, the Berlin Radio Choir, the MDR Leipzig Radio Choir and the Gaechinger Cantorey.
