"A captivatingly smooth sound and an amazing agility" wrote Klassik.com about Frederic Belli's playing. He is considered among the top trombone soloists in the world and is the prize winner of numerous international competitions.

As a soloist he regularly performs concerts and premieres of trombone concerti with orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin and the SWR Symphony Orchestra Badan-Baden/Freiburg.

Also as a chamber musician in different ensembles and settings he is playing internationally at renowned festivals and concert series, both classical and contemporary music.
