Composer Elena Anisimova graduated from the Kazan State Conservatory named after N. Zhiganov (composition class of the Professor A. B. Luppov) in 2006, traineeship – in 2010.
Member of the "Composers' Union" of Russia and Tatarstan, Head of the Volga region representation of youth office of the "Composers' Union" of Russia.
PhD in Art History.
Associate Professor of the Music theory and Composition Chair in the Kazan Conservatory.
Trained at the Academy of Music "Santa Cecilia" (Rome, Italy, 2012), "Schoenberg Center" (Vienna, Austria, 2012).
Winner of the First Prize at the International Competition named after N. Zhiganov (Kazan, 2011). Winner of the All-Russian competition for young composers (Moscow, 2003) and the All-Russian Competition named after D. Shostakovich (St. Petersburg, 2006).
Participant of the International Contemporary Music Festivals held in Russia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Sweden.
Elena Anisimova is the author of major stage works, among them are: a one-act chamber opera "Wii" based on the novel of N. Gogol, libretto written by E. Anisimova (2006); a carol-opera "The Night Before Christmas" based on the novel of N. Gogol, libretto written by E. Anisimova (2013); symphonic, chamber vocal and instrumental works.
