Violinist Daniela Cammarano, known to audiences throughout Italy as concertmaster, soloist and chamber musician, has been performing as a duo with pianist Alessandro Deljavan since 2006.
Together they have performed in many venues across Italy, in France, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States.
They have collaborated on several recordings including Edvard Grieg Complete Violin Sonatas (Aevea), Sergei Tanayev Complete Chamber Music for Piano and Strings (Aevea), Johann Nepomuk Hummel Complete Piano Trios (Brilliant Classics), Anton Rubinstein Complete Works for Violin and Piano (Brilliant Classics), Johannes Brahms Violin Sonatas 1-3 (Onclassical) and coming in 2015 Franz Schubert Music for Violin and Piano (Academy).
In 2013 the Duo Cammarano / Deljavan participated in a series of the Beethoven complete sonatas for piano and violin shared with Vicktoria Mullova and Paolo Giacometti.
Günter Pichler, 1st violin of the Alban Berg Quartet wrote of his experience working with Duo Cammarano / Deljavan:
"I met the Duo Cammarano / Deljavan in my masterclass at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.
We worked on the 10 sonatas for piano and violin by Beethoven and this was an extraordinary experience for me:
I did not hear for many, many years such an excellent performance of these sonatas.
Every organizer should be happy to ask this Duo to play this cycle or part of it in it's series."
