ANNE- SOPHIE MUTTER ~ Mozart Violin Concerto # 4 in D major ~ Camerata Salzburg
Quite interestingly, Anne Sophie-Mutter made her public debut on stage in 1976 at the Lucerne Festival, playing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major. At 14, she made her debut at the Salzburg Festival with the English Chamber Orchestra under Daniel Barenboim and at 15 her first recording. As is well known, she has since become one the foremost violinists of her time and continues to be a 'reference' as to how the violin should be played.
ANNE SOPHIE-MUTTER - Mozart Violin Concerto # 1 ~ Camerata Salzburg
The talented violinist Anne Sophie-Mutter performs Mozart's first violin concerto, K.207
Herbert von Karajan invited her to play with the Berlin Philharmonic in the early 1980's and since then the German violinist has become one of the most prolific female violinists currently in the world.
Mozart's 1st. violin concerto shows his youth yet is spirited and joyful and even compared to his later 4 works, leaves the listener with nothing to be desired!
