Almira Emiri is an international concert pianist born in Albania. She started her musical education in Albania. After winning the national piano competition at the age of 9, she gave her first recital and went on a concert tour in Italy.
From the age of 12 she continued her pianistic career and education in Hungary. She graduated from the Bela Bartok Conservatory and thereafter enrolled in the Franz List University of Music in Budapest and the University for Music and Arts in Graz, Austria. She graduated with honors the bachelor and master studies as a concert pianist and chamber musician.
In Graz, Almira founded her piano trio "Babameto trio" and various chamber music groups performing in Austria and other neighboring countries. She refined her pianistic proficiency amongst others with such outstanding pianists as Maria Rafaeli, Larisza Bornemissza, Mariann Ábrahám, Lehel Both, Annamaria Bodoky-Krause, Milana Chernyavska and Eugen Jakab. She also attended classes and master classes with Dimitri Bashkirov, Rudolf Kehrer, Vitaly Margulis, Alexander Satz und Livia Rév
Almira masters a comprehensive repertoire of classical music, in particular as a soloist and chamber musician. She performed in numerous reputable concert halls and music festivals in Italy, Croatia, Albania, France, Greece, Israel , Austria and Hungary. Selected concerts were recorded and transmitted in various TV and radio channels.
