biography
Alejandro von Büren is a young venezuelan Lyric Baritone. He began his studies at the Opera Singing Academy from "El Sistema" created by Jose Antonio Abreu. In this Academy he received vocal tecnic and vocal coach with the venezuelan soprano Margot Pares-Reyna, and the excelent pianist Franca Ciarfella.

He has participated in voice and acting master classes with Bernhard Kerres, Isabel Palacios, Eduardo Calcaño, Francesco Poleo, Michael Pinkerton, Laura Claycomb, Rene Morloc, Cybele Gouverneur, István Kovács, baritone Mathias Hausman, Francisco Salazar, and others.

He has participated as a soloist in: Die Schöpfung (J. Haydn), The Messiah (G. F. Händel), Choral Fantasy (L. Beethoven), Kaffeekantate (J. S. Bach, BWV 211) and Magnificat (J. S. Bach, BWV 243), Requiem in D minor (W. A. Mozart), St. Mark's Passion (R. Keiser), The last seven words of Jesus by T. Dubois, Cantata BWV 82Ich habe genug by J. S. Bach.

He has represented the following roles: Erminio in Il trionfo dell'onore by Alessandro Scarlatti, Uberto in La Serva Padrona by G. Pergolesi, Il Barone and Marquis d'Obigny in La Traviata, Marullo from Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, Figaro and Il Conte d'Almaviva from Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart, Beto di Signa/Marco in Gianni Schicchi, Schounard from La Boheme, Sharpless from Madama Buterfly by G. Puccini.

He has work under the direction of maestros as: Isabel Palacios, Elisa Vega, Maria Guinand, Jesús Morin, Florentino Mendoza, César Iván Lara, Diego Matheus, Pablo Castellanos, Juan Carlos Vivas, Robert Göstl, Rodolfo Sanglinbeni, in important theaters in Venezuela.


He has been a member of the Youth Symphonic Choir "Simón Bolívar" with which he has participated in numerous festivals in Frankfurt and Köln in Germany, in New York and Washington in the United States, in Bogotá, Colombia, in the most important classical music festival in the Salzburg city in Austria and on one tour of the United Kingdom where they sang the most important Theaters of Liverpool, New Castell, London and in the Principality of Wales in the City of Cardiff and last but not least, with the choir has made 8 performances of La Boheme at the great Teatro alla Scala in the Milan city on August 2015. The Simón Bolívar Choir stands out for the interpretation of symphonic-choral works and operas that have been directed by conductors as , Sir. Simón Rattle, Krzysztof Penderecki, Helmuth Rilling, Gustavo Dudamel, Gerald Wirth, Joseph Villa, among others. Currently, he is studying a Superior Degree in Singing at the Superior School of Singing in Madrid with the teachers Juan Lomba and Duncan Gifford.
